A collection of artistic mirrors in the églomisé technique
Ignis is a reflection of fire captured in glass. The collection is created using the rare églomisé
technique – a historical method of applying gold, silver, and metallic leaf to the reverse side of glass,
transforming the surface into a work of art.
Each mirror is entirely handmade and produced as a one-of-a-kind piece. These works go beyond
reflection – they are independent artistic compositions, featuring symbolic or narrative imagery,
subtle color shifts, and layered textures. Metal leaf interacts with the glass as a spatial medium,
enhancing the perception of depth, movement, and mystery.

The collection includes a variety of precious metals and tones – from warm gold to cool silver,
including matte, oxidized, and luminous variations. Formats range from small wall-mounted works to
large-scale interior mirrors. The maximum dimensions are 1500 mm in height by 1000 mm in width.
The collection is created by Oleksandr (Sasha) Pinchuk, an artist and designer based in Paris,
France – the city where the églomisé tradition began, and where it continues to evolve in
contemporary form.
Ignis is a mirror where the fire of the image is reflected.
